My Signature knife was the first knife I ever made, and it is still my companion on my journeys and my EDC. But I wanted to take it to the next level and bring in new elements I learned over the years
I love chunky, heavy blades, and my knives’ spines are often 5 millimeters wide. I am a tall guy and have big hands. Why not make a small knife out of thick steel, and I liked the style of my Tigershark knife, where a constant line runs from the heel of the handle down to the tip of the blade.
As my brother’s birthday was near, I decided to finally build this knife model as a Signature ’24. I combined it with self-made red and white micarta liners as accents, a deep-black bog oak handle, and a full black leather sheath with red-threaded sewing. The red paracord was added by my wife – she has a shop for handmade dog collars made out of paracord at www.charlilyhandmade.de.
So these are the results:

The side of the blade is etched with the latin sentence “Amor fraterni vinculi aeternus est” which means “The love of a brotherly bond is eternal.”
Bog oak was an awesome material to work with, and I think I will come back to this material with future knives.
